E6S-040 WBS with Ricardo Vargas (content lost)
It is my great honor to have Ricardo Vargas here as our first guest to the E6S-Methods podcast. Ricardo is a project, portfolio and risk management specialist. He has been responsible for over 80 major global projects in petroleum, energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, IT and finance . He was the first Latin American volunteer elected as the Chairman of the Board for the Project Management Institute (PMI). He has roughly 15 professional certifications/diplomas, is author of 12 project management books, and received the Most Valuable Professional award by Microsoft for his work with MS Project.. It goes without saying that Ricardo lives an extremely active, engaged and busy lifestyle. Though his heart belongs to Brazil, Ricardo joins us via Skype from Copenhagen, Denmark, where he is currently the director of the Project Management Practice Group at the United Nations office for Project Services, improving the management of humanitarian, peace-building and infrastructure development in dozens of nations, including Haiti, Afghanistan, Iraq and South Sudan.
